In response to an article in The Guardian, I created Pymlico, a supporter's resource which could be used freely by anyone wishing to support the big sporting event of 2012. I incorporated some quaint English phrases into a couple of the poster designs and gave the whole thing an upbeat, positive feel. The idea was well received by those who might benefit from such an identity, as well as the design press - I was interviewed by Computer Arts and Creative Review and one London-based chef even named one of his signature dishes after the Pymlico project.
